OUR OFFERINGS FOR 2018
Yin Yoga with Gabrielle Harris- 29 June- 6 July
Join Gabrielle Harris for a week of unplugging. This retreat is for those who want to get away, spend time with themselves, deepen their yoga practice and connect with nature. With only ten participants you will also get to meet other like minded people in an intimate and refreshing retreat. The retreat is aimed at anyone who needs to ‘fill-up’ and recharge themselves. The yoga is simple but deep and you will practice the time honoured techniques of meditation, breathing and yoga postures in a combination that will leave you wanting more. By the end of the seven days you will have experienced more fully the power of yoga and it’s ability to shift things within us both in a physical, mental and emotional sense. All my classes are laden with life philosophy so you may garner some effective takeaways as to how to live your life, more simply, with acceptance and generosity of heart.
Pilates with Emma- 21-28 July
For the second year in a row, Sea Change Eco Retreat is offering a 7-day Pilates retreat!
Sea Change partnered last year with Emma Cliffe to offer a special 7 day Pilates programme for the perfect mix of Pilates growth and surreal island experiences.
2017's Retreat was an incredible experience, with everyone who attended taking the opportunity to take their practice to the next level and grow, while lapping up all of the amazing experiences the island has to offer - like swimming with humpback whales!
She developed a special 7 day Pilates programme for the perfect mix of Pilates growth and great island experiences.
The week will consist of an early bird class in the morning to wake up your body and senses, and a late afternoon class, all on our custom designed exercise pavilion located in our tranquil coconut forest.
Learn the progressive moves of classic Pilates mat work, and work your way towards the advanced method over the week. This class is dedicated to you improving your practice and seeing some fantastic results. For those who want more, Emma will also be offering Standup Paddle Board Pilates Classes and Individual 1:1 classes for an additional cost.
Emma has been practising Pilates for over 20 years now, and became qualified as a Matwork Teacher in 2008 with Body Control Pilates in London. She ran her own business in the UK for several years before re-locating to New Zealand in January 2012. She says "Practising Pilates has changed my life and my perception of my body. I'm stronger and fitter than I've been for years! And because of that, I'm passionate about helping others reach their potential through Pilates, and seeing the benefits in my clients."
