Explore Pristine Waters with Sea Change Eco Retreats Fishing Tours

Located very close to the Tongan Trench and only minutes from incredible fishing spots, Sea Change has direct access to some of the best open water fishing in the world. At Sea Change Eco Retreats, our chartered fishing tours offer the ultimate blend of adventure, sustainability, and expert guidance—all in the heart of some of the most untouched waters in the Pacific. Whether you're a seasoned angler or new to the sport, our fishing experiences are tailored to deliver excitement, challenge, and unforgettable island moments.  We provide all of the fishing gear too – which is highly specialised based on our years of experience in these waters.

Meet your crew: our highly experienced fishing skippers, Tomasi and Clint, bring deep local knowledge and years of hands-on expertise navigating these rich waters. Supporting them is our professional fishing guide, Gordon, who not only helps you land your catch but also doubles as our head chef—ready to turn the day’s harvest into a culinary masterpiece, if we choose to keep it (most fish are released).

We offer a variety of thrilling fishing styles, including:

  • Top water fishing for the powerful and elusive Giant Trevally

  • Trolling for high-speed predators like tuna and wahoo

  • Jigging for a wide range of reef and pelagic species

  • Salt water fly fishing straight from the shores of our uninhabited island

The adventure begins quickly—fishing grounds start just 5 to 10 minutes from Sea Change, meaning less time traveling and more time doing what you love. Best of all, you’ll be casting your line in beautiful, mostly unfished waters, giving you a true sense of exploration and connection with nature.

We are deeply committed to sustainable fishing practices. The majority of our tours follow a catch and release policy, using barbless hooks to minimize harm to the fish and preserve the marine ecosystem for future generations.

Come experience the magic of fishing at Sea Change Eco Retreats—where the fish are wild, the waters are pure, and every trip is a story waiting to be told.
